Drawing on our extensive experience in supplying mattresses to the healthcare sector, KomfiMed is an industry first - combining medically-proven foam with TrueGel technology, coupled with the environmental benefits of Ecofoam.
The result is a ground-breaking mattress that brings our R&D for the medical market to the consumer sector, with a product that meets a growing need for a range of specialist mattresses for the home.
Available in soft, medium and firm configurations, KomfiMed offers a supportive sleep surface while conforming to the body’s contours. Crafted with precision to adhere to strict safety standards, it’s designed to offer excellent pressure relief and spinal alignment, while minimising motion transfer and helping to regulate body temperature.

Given our long heritage in British mattress manufacture, together with the strength of our experienced in-house R&D team, we’re in an excellent position to innovate and develop products that specifically meet market needs.
Also, with our increasing use of Ecofoam within the Komfi range we’re also responding to both consumer and retail awareness about the environment and sustainability. Designed in-house at GNG, Ecofoam is made from 100% recycled and re-engineered foam and can be completely recycled at the end of its working life.
All our mattresses are made at our 40,000 sq ft purpose built manufacturing facility in West Yorkshire, and we’re extremely proud of the fact that not only are we a British manufacturer, but that we have also been accredited as a carbon neutral company.
The KomfiMed range is already attracting a huge amount of interest and helped us be nominated as a Finalist in the ‘Bed Product of the Year’ category in the National Bed Federation’s annual awards, recently during their gala dinner as part of the National Bed Show in Telford.
KomfiMed mattresses now feature in the National Bed Federation approved collection, and they all come with a 10 year warranty.
